College of the Ozarks' senior guard Ethan Murray nailed 7 three-pointers and scored a game-high 33 points as the Bobcats returned to their winning ways on Thursday night, defeating Crowley's Ridge College, 80-67. Headed into Thursday's game, Murray ranked #3 in NAIA DII in 3 point field goals made per game (4.33) and #7 in total 3 point field goals made (65).
The Bobcats' junior guard Cameron Paschke overcame a tough shooting night to score 15 points for C of O, and senior forward Skyler Frazier added 12 points. Ozarks won the battle of the boards, out-rebounding the host Pioneers, 48-45, led by junior Joe Young with 9 rebounds. Junior Kiefer Starbird added 8 rebounds to accompany 4 blocked shots.
C of O, who held a 40-34 advantage at the half, improves to 12-4 on the season. They will return home to face Haskell University on Saturday, January 16, at 5 PM.
