The College of the Ozarks men’s basketball team fell to Bellevue University on Saturday evening by a score of 82-87.
The Bobcats started out the evening hitting 48.6% from the field, 37.5% from the arc, to take a 45-41 lead into the locker room at the half. Unfortunately for the Cats, Bellevue came out in the second half and proceeded to outscore the Cats 46-37, including 8 three-pointers.
College of the Ozarks was led by Ryan Burland and Cameron Paschke, each with 17 points, while Kiefer Starbird and Ethan Davidson both hit double-figures with 13 and 11 respectively. Davidson picked up a double-double on the night, adding a game-leading 10 rebounds.
The Bobcats record stands at 5-4 as they head into Thanksgiving break. College of the Ozarks will head to Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, for a game on December 3rd, followed by a home matchup against Evangel University on December 6th.
