Bobcats Team Up with McDonald's to Support Community

2016 marks the 34th year that McDonald’s has sponsored the C of O men’s basketball classic.  McDonald’s and College of the Ozarks decided to partner with Christian Action Ministries over 20 years ago to help meet the needs of the Tri-Lakes area.  At that time, the classic became known as the C of O McDonald’s CAM JAM.  The Lady Bobcats Coke Classic also benefits CAM, and thanks to a very generous community, many hundreds of canned goods have been collected this past week in exchange for admission to these two classic events.

On January 4th, Andy, Jennifer and Reese Ruprecht, owners of the local McDonald’s restaurants, presented a check to Todd Wright, Executive Director of CAM (who also serves as the Bobcats' assistant coach), in the amount of $1,000 to help with the tremendous work CAM is doing in the community.

The Bobcats and Lady Bobcats are thankful for the support of McDonalds and Coca-Cola for their classics, allowing them the opportunity to assist the community in this way.
