On Saturday, the Bobcat Volleyball team faced Bellevue University (Bellevue, Nebraska) in the tournament championship game for the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference. Finishing the regular season, the Bellevue Bruins (12-0) and College of the Ozarks Bobcats (10-1) were the top two teams in the conference respectively. Despite finding themselves down two games to none (20-25, 21-25) in the opening of the Bellevue game, the Bobcats fought back to win the next two sets (25-19 and 26-24). The fifth set was no exception to the close competition between these two teams, but the Bellevue Bruins came out on top 15-13 to claim the tournament championship. Leading the Bobcats were Hannah Meadows- 19 kills, Hayley Blair-21 digs, Peyton Peavey-5 blocks, and Sarah Kreul-29 assists. The Bruin leaders included Annie Benson-18 kills, Beth Walker and Sydney Deboer- 3 blocks, Beth Walker-59 assists, and Caitlyn Reuth with 19 digs.
