College of the Ozarks’ Lady Bobcats posted another win at home this evening as they soundly defeated Waldorf College in three sets, 25-9, 25-15, 25-12. The win places the Bobcats at the top of the MCAC with a 3-0 conference record, 8-12 overall.
The Lady Cats’ victory was definitely a group effort, as Jenny Wuerffel and Jamie Reaves led with 11 kills apiece, Sarah Kreul, Hannah Gilpin and Brandi Stahl each posted one service ace, Jamie Reaves and Logan Allen provided 4 blocks each, Lindsay Boone garnered 17 assists, and Brandi Stahl captured 20 digs.
Leading the Waldorf Warriors were Abby Buehler with 8 kills, Kaitlin Monck with 9 assists, and Briley Sullivan with 14 digs.
The Lady Bobcats will play host to College of St. Mary on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM. The St. Mary Flames are 15-5 on the season with a 2-0 record in conference play.
