The Lady Bobcats will head back on the road Friday to face Haskell Indian Nations University at 7 PM. They will then travel to McPherson, Kansas to take on McPherson College at 1 PM and Central Christian College at 3 PM on Saturday.
The Lady 'Cats are coming off a big win against William Woods University on Tuesday, which took the Bobcats’ winning streak to 4, having won 7 of their last 8 games. The team looks to add to those positive numbers this weekend.
The Haskell Indians, an AII conference opponent, are struggling this season, having compiled a 3-15 record. However, over the years, Haskell always seems to bring their game to the court when playing C of O, so the Lady Bobcats will go prepared for a tough match. Indians' junior middle hitter Aspen Shepherd is ranked #34 in the NAIA in kills per game.
McPherson College is also having a tough season with a 4-14 record to date, but AII member Central Christian College, on the other hand, is not. They currently hold a 12-6 record and have seen their libero, Ciara Costello, make her way to the NAIA No. 1 ranking in digs per game with 6.84 and their freshman outside hitter Haley Bannister move to a number 8 ranking in kills per game with 4.07.
The Lady Bobcats are 11-11 on the season and currently rank No. 2 in the NAIA in total digs with 1,653 and No. 7 in digs per game (19.22). Stat leaders to date feature: Sarah Kreul (23 service aces), Danielle Curnes (220 kills, 2.6 per game), Lindsay Boone (421 assists), Brandi Stahl (ranks NAIA #7 in total digs with 419 digs, 5.2 per game), and Jamie Reaves (leads the conference and also ranks NAIA #8 in total blocks with 95, 1.1 per game).
