The Lady Bobcats improved their MCAC Conference record to 5-0 on Saturday afternoon by defeating York College in three sets (25-16, 25-17, and 25-14). Strong play by Freshman Sarah Kreul of Republic, MO, who provided 23 assists, and Senior Hayley Blair with 23 digs, helped lead the Bobcats to victory. The team now ranks number two in the NAIA in total assists and total kills, and Hayley Blair and Jamie Reaves rank number two in total digs and blocks respectively. The ladies will have a chance to catch up on their studies and put in some good practice time this week as they prepare to face Bellevue University. College of the Ozarks currently shares the top spot in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference with Bellevue, and the two teams will match up on Friday evening, October 11th.
