The Bobcat Volleyball team's 2013 season is off to a good start after winning 3 of 4 matches in the Oklahoma Baptist Tournament, defeating Texas Wesleyan, Texas College and St. Thomas Houston. Their only loss was to Wiley College in 5 sets. Leading the team over the weekend were: Hannah Meadows in kills and hitting percentage, Jamie Reaves in blocks, and Hayley Blair in passing efficiency and digs.
On Monday evening, the Bobcats hosted a match up with John Brown University's Lady Eagles, where the Bobcats emerged victorious in 5 sets. Seniors Hannah Meadow (12 kills) and Hayley Blair (25 digs), along with Jamie Reaves (6 blocks) were the team leaders. Freshman Sarah Kreul had a strong performance with 17 assists. The Bobcats' record now stands at 4-1. The coming weekend, the team heads to Nebraska for the Bellevue University Labor Day Classic. All games will be played at the Lied Center in Bellevue.
