The Bobcat baseball team headed northeast this weekend to take on Lindenwood-Bellville in two doubleheaders. The weekend started great with a Saturday Game 1 victory, 10-6. Austin Reaves was the winning pitcher, and posted 5 strikeouts in his 3 innings. Austin Schweiss was the game leader, going 2-4 with 2 RBI. Saturday's Game 2 found the Bobcats on the losing side by a 5-1 margin. Silas Bohannan suffered the loss, while David Zamora provided 3.2 innings with 2 strikeouts and no earned runs. On Sunday, the Bobcats were unable to pick up a victory. Lindenwood-Bellville pulled out a win with a final score of 3-2. The 'Cats' Timmy Townsend pitched 5 innings, giving up 3 runs but also recording 5 strikeouts. Key player of the game for the Bobcats was Silas Bohannan, who went 1-1 at the plate with a double and 2 RBI. In Game 2, Lindenwood garnered a 7-4 victory.
