Sean Neal of State Champion Mansfield HS to Join Bobcats

Sean NealHead Coach Neale Richardson is pleased to announce the signing of Sean Neal, who played for the 2017 State Champion Mansfield High School Lions.

Neal was a four-year varsity pitcher, outfielder, and first baseman for the Lions, who achieved all-conference honors in baseball his sophomore through senior years, all-district honors as a junior, and was named all-state as a senior. Additional honors included being named a Wendy's High School Heisman School winner and state finalist. Neale also was a member of Mansfield's cross country team.

In addition to being an outstanding baseball player, Neal is a hard worker in the classroom.  He was named Academic All-State in both baseball and cross country, while being named the Salutatorian of the 2017 graduating class.

"I believe Sean will be a great fit for C of O," stated Coach Richardson, "as he has demonstrated great success both in the classroom and on the field.  Sean will provide additional depth for our pitching staff and versatility in the field."

The Bobcats are excited to welcome Sean to the team and look forward to his contributions toward their success in the coming years.
