Hartville's Hunter Simmons Signs with Bobcats

Hunter SimmonsOn Monday, August 4th, College of the Ozarks’ Head Baseball Coach Neale Richardson added some speed to the Bobcats’ lineup by signing Hartville’s Hunter Simmons.  Simmons hails as the Hartville Eagles’ stolen base leader with 92 career steals. He is also a two-time all-conference, all-district and all-state recipient, having played in three district championships.  The right-handed hitting outfielder/middle infielder was part of Hartville’s State Championship in 2012-13, as well as their runner-up finish in 2014.  Simmons plans to pursue a major in Conservation Wildlife Management at College of the Ozarks.   Pictured with Hunter are his parents, Cara & Chris Simmons, C of O Head Coach Neale Richardson, and Hartville HS Coach Joe Garrison.
