Bobcats Sign Right-Hander Collan Thrasher

Collan TrasherCollan Thrasher of Atlanta, Missouri was recently added to the 2015-16 College of the Ozarks baseball roster, when he signed a letter of intent to join the Bobcats next fall.

Thrasher, a right-handed pitcher, brings a live arm to the Bobcats along with a solid high school performance at the plate. Thrasher’s 10-2 record with three shutouts and four saves has certainly been a boon to his Atlanta High School team.  As one of their top starting pitchers, Thrasher went 62-1/3 innings, striking out 67 batters, and posting a 2.19 ERA with one no-hitter.  Thrasher was named 2nd Team All-Conference his sophomore year, 1st Team All-Conference his junior season, and All-District both years.

While Thrasher is eager to join the Bobcats, he first looks forward to an exciting senior season for the Atlanta Hornets this spring. Coach Richardson and the Bobcats, meanwhile, are eager to see Thrasher contribute to their pitching staff in the years ahead.
