Bobcats Add Two Hillcrest Players for 2015-2016

Isaac Norsic

College of the Ozarks Head Baseball Coach Neale Richardson continues to build his 2015-2016 team, signing two new players from Hillcrest High School this past week.

Isaac Norsic (pictured with mom and coaches) has started for Hillcrest since he was a freshman, but he missed all of his sophomore year due to an injury.  Isaac was a 2nd team All-Ozark Conference pitcher in 2014 and 2nd team All-District Catcher for Class 5 District 10.  Norsic was also named MVP of the prestigious Glen Winget Tournament in Bartlesville, OK, this past summer.  In 2014 Norsic batted .342 with 49 RBI and four home runs.  He compiled a 10-4 record on the mound, with an ERA of 1.82 and posted 102 strikeouts in only 100 innings.

Collin Irvine

Collin Irvine (pictured with parents and coaches) has been a starter for Hillcrest since his sophomore year.  In 2014, Collin was named 2nd team All-Ozark Conference Pitcher and Honorable Mention All-Ozark Conference Catcher.  Combining his spring and summer seasons in 2014, Irvine was 8-6 with a 2.13 ERA, posting an impressive 114 strikeouts in 102 innings. At the plate in 2014, Irvine hit .340 with 32 RBI.

Coach Richardson and the Bobcats are excited to see the contributions Norsic and Irvine will bring to the team.
