Congratulations go out to College of the Ozarks women’s basketball senior Cassidy Johnson, who set a new record for the Lady Bobcats this past weekend.
While scoring a team-leading 20 points in Saturday’s road victory over #23 NAIA Division II Indiana University Northwest, Johnson hit two three-pointers. In doing so, she set a new Lady Cat career record for three-point shots made, taking her career total to 333 with eleven regular-season games remaining.
The previous career record for three-point field goals made by a Lady Bobcat was set in 2009 by Kayli Combs (2006-2009), who netted 331 treys.
Johnson leads the Lady Cats in scoring with an average of 17.56 points per game. College of the Ozarks is currently ranked #6 in NAIA DII and is 16-2 on the season.
