College of the Ozarks' men's golf team participated in Day Two of the Evangel Fall Invitational on Tuesday and took home a 10th place finish out of eleven teams.
Caleb Davis improved his play on Tuesday, posting a round of 77, following Monday's score of 79. The two-day total of 156 placed Davis in a tie for 16th place overall, while leading his team in scoring. Freshman Trenton Hyde of Vienna, Illinois, shot 81 and 84 to finish second in the Cats lineup and tied for 36th place overall. Chandler Tidwell, who led the Cats on Monday with a 78, had a rough start to the day and was unable to repeat Monday's performance, finishing with a total of 170. Marcos Devoto, a new transfer this season, also posted a tournament score of 170.

The men's and women's teams will head out a little farther from home for their next tournament, as they participate in the NCCAA Regionals at Auburn Hills in Wichita, Kansas next week. The Bobcats will look forward to continuing to improve, as sophomore transfer Jon Bell from Jackson, Missouri looks to be eligible for play in this event.
