The women's track team participated Friday in the MSSU Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational hosted by Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. Teams from colleges and universities of varying sizes participated in the meet, including big names such as Pitt State, Dallas Baptist, Rogers State, John Brown, SNU, UCM, Missouri S&T, and others.
Placing 8th in the women's high jump was Jordan Owens with a jump of 1.62m (5'3.75), and placing 11th in the 800 meters was Emily Brown with a time of 2:31.73.
