College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcat cross country runners Torri Holder, Hannah Duncan, Adeline Holder, and Melanie Hall closed out their 2017 season with the opportunity to run at the NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Championship on November 18. The 5 kilometer race was held at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington.
Torri Holder, a senior who has been the number one runner for the Lady Bobcats since the team was re-instated four years ago, led the charge for her team for the final time this week. Holder finished 151st out of 338 runners from across the country with a time of 19:29. Holly Duncan completed the race in 19:43 (180th), Adeline Holder finished with a time of 19.51 (196th), and Melanie Hall crossed the finish line at 20:11 (238th).
Congratulations to these four ladies on their great accomplishment of qualifying for the national championship and representing College of the Ozarks in fine fashion!
