College of the Ozarks men’s golf team participated in the Missouri Valley College Invitational in Marshall, Mo., on Monday and Tuesday.  The tournament was held at Indian Foothills Golf Course, which played approximately 6,350 yards.

Eight teams competed in the tournament, which saw round one delayed to a 1 p.m. start due to snow on the ground.  The Bobcats finished in seventh place overall.  Missouri Valley, the host school, took first place with a team score of 10-under par.

Leading the way for the Cats were Heath Carmichael and Caleb Davis.  Carmichael tied for 22nd place out of 43 golfers, shooting 80 on Monday and 78 on Tuesday.  Davis finished 23rd with an 83 in round one and a 77 in round two.  Full results for the event can be found here.

The Bobcats’ next tournament will be played in Mountain Home, Ark. on April 23-24, hosted by Williams Baptist.  It will be the Cats’ last tournament  before heading to the A.I.I. Conference Championship.
