Caleb Davis Leads the Cats in Columbia

GolfThe Bobcat golf team headed to Columbia, Missouri this week to play in the Cougar Classic, hosted by Columbia College.  The event was played at the Columbia Country Club. 

The 6,701 yard course proved challenging, but Caleb Davis shot an 83 to lead the Bobcats in Round 1, which placed him in a tie for 31st place. In Round 2, Davis posted a score of 80 to close out the tournament tied for 29th place.  Isaac Franklin had an exciting day on Tuesday, shooting an 83.  He birdied two consecutive holes and just missed his birdie putt on the following hole.  Franklin shot 96/83, followed by Sam Watson (87/93), Eric Powell (94/99), Chandler Tidwell (99/96), Kyle Keith (101/98), and Braeden Sconce (98/102).

The Bobcats will travel to McPherson, Kansas on Sunday to play in the Central Kansas Classic at Turkey Creek Golf Course on October 9 & 10.
