Lady Bobcat Golf Closes Out Fall Season

While the weather was dry, once again windy conditions prevailed on Sunday, as the Lady Bobcats contended with a course that held plenty of water, sand, and trees.  Monday’s round on the beautifully manicured course was calmer with regard to wind, and each of the Lady Bobcats were excited to improve their score by at least three strokes to as many as 16 strokes from the day prior.

Bekah Goodwin led the Lady Cats with scores of 94/90, and placed in a tie for 37th.  Kate Voss shot 97/94 to finish in a tie for 42nd place.  Skylar Kistler improved her score by 9 strokes, Ashley Stanphill by 16, and Makenzie Bradshaw by 15, which is what Coach Larsen is looking for on the course from his players—a positive attitude of always learning and improving.

The Lady Bobcats, who placed 10th this week, will take a winter break from tournament play.  A spring schedule is being developed, and the Lady Cats will continue working to improve their games in preparation for the next round of play.
