Cleeton Named A.I.I. & NCCAA Player of the Week

College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcat Kelsie Cleeton (Springfield, Mo.) earned Association of Independent Institutions’ Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, as well as NCCAA Student Athlete of the Week, for her performance in the Lady Cats’ opening week of the 2018-2019 season,

Cleeton, an All-American senior guard, picked up right where she left off last season.  In the Lady Cats’ first game of the year, Cleeton posted a stout double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds against nationally-ranked #20 Tabor College. She followed up by doing one better against Southwestern College, when she recorded a triple-double, tallying 10 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists.

For the Lady Bobcats' opening week, Cleeton averaged 13 points, 16 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals per game to help College of the Ozarks grab a 2-0 start on the year.
